This fell last night, ever so gently, but fiercely enough for a Code Red Day! It was a total shock, as the chance of snow had been downplayed greatly since last week. So, today I'll spend the day hammering away on projects left mostly undone since the last Code Red time.
Yet, today will feel very much like what it is- a gift of relaxation.
Thank you Mother Nature for knowing the breaking points of teachers, and sending us a wonder of white day in which we can recharge our heart, soul, batteries, brain, and body! Thank you Father Time for the opportunity to make homemade granola, clean, do art work, read, and watch the sun rise over snow-covered trees above a creek!
For what are you grateful at this moment?
Share with me, as we celebrate being grateful!
I'll second that thank you to Mother Nature, for leaving a fresh blanket of snow in the Laurel Highlands and sending a crisp, sunny day, so I could enjoy some beautiful XC skiing yesterday! (Also, a thank you to my boss for approving the last-minute day off!)
